But obviously it's an advantage that does exist and does matter, even if it's not the one singular factor victories come down to. To what extent the headstart advantage is counterbalanced by other factors, such as the team ahead streaming their strats, or what time Blizzard deploys nerfs if they are needed, is another question. There is a reason that neither guild likes the region headstart, and have openly spoken about being incredibly apprehensive of bosses that fall after a weekly reset. The difference is even worse if bosses go past weekly resets, as EU would be stuck on day 7 of an unkillable week 1 boss, at the same time that NA are already making headway on the 1st day of week 2 with all the ilvl upgrades that do make the raid clearable. Echo has to wait around for EU reset, and this tier they even had time to hop onto NA servers just so they can start gathering data on throwaway NA chars (while Liquid was gathering the same data progging their actual live characters with gear they got to keep). NA get their start at 8pm CET, EU get their start at 5am CET the next day, so there is obviously a headstart, none of the guids even debate that. What do you mean it does't matter?
